CSIR-NIIST Technical Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Educational
Qualification:  

1. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-4) – B.E./B.Tech in
Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable: Candidate with NET/GATE qualified. Experience in Metals and Materials
Processing.

2. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-5) – Master’s Degree in
Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Polymer Science / Biopolymer Science from a
recognized University or Equivalent. OR B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical/
Polymer Engineering.

3. Field
Assistant(MSTD-6) – 3 years Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering. Desirable: One year experience in R&D Fields.

4. Technical
Assistant (MSTD-3) – B.Sc Nursing from a
recognized college / University.

Desirable: Expertise for blood collections, plasma, serum separation from blood
for clinical research purpose, proforma filling (documentation) in the area
of cancer and diagnostics.

Age Limit:

1. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-4) – 35 Years

2. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-5) – 35 Years

3. Field
Assistant(MSTD-6) – 50 Years

4. Technical
Assistant (MSTD-3) – 50 Years

The
Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for
Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC
PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper

Salary Details:

1. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-4) –

– Rs. 31,000/-+ 18% HRA for who possess valid CSIR-UGC NET Score
(including lectureship) or valid GATE score.

– Rs.25,000/-+ 18% HRA for who do not fulfill the above

2. Project
Associate- I (MSTD-5) –

– Rs. 31,000/-+ 18%
HRA for who possess valid CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or valid
GATE score.

– Rs..25,000/-+ 18% HRA for who do not fulfill the above.

3. Field
Assistant(MSTD-6) – Rs. 20,000/-+HRA

4. Technical
Assistant (MSTD-3) – Rs. 20,000/-+HRA
