ICMR-RMRC Technical Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Educational
Qualification:

1. Technical
Assistant –

Essential Qualification:1st class B.Tech/BSc/BCA in IT/CS from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification: Prior Experience of working in S&T Government/PSU/Autonomous
Sector.

2. Technical
Assistant –

Essential Qualification: 1st class BSc/B.Tech in life sciences from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification: Prior Experience of working in Medical Research Laboratory/Institute.

3. Technician-I
–

Essential Qualification:12th or intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at
least one year diploma in computer/IT from govt. recognized institution.

Desirable Qualification: Prior Experience of working in S&T Government/PSU/Autonomous
Sector.

4. Technician-I
–

Essential Qualification: 12th or intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at
least one year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from govt. recognized
institution.

Desirable Qualification: Prior Experience of working in S&T Government/PSU/Autonomous
Sector.

Age Limit: (As
on 10.03.2023)

1. Technical
Assistant – Not exceeding 30 years

2. Technical
Assistant – Not exceeding 30 years

3. Technician-I
– Not exceeding 28 years.

4. Technician-I
– Not exceeding 28 years.

 The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for
SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for
SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India
rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt.

ICMR-RMRC may follow the
following process to select the candidates.

Application
Fee/Exam Fee for ICMR-RMRC Technical Assistant: 

Application fees- Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft in favor of
Director, ICMRRMRC Gorakhpur payable at Gorakhpur. SC/ST/PWDs and Women
candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. ICMR employees are
not exempted from the payment.
